Meet Dr. Jenn Nolan




Whatever your passion, Dr. Nolan wants to help keep you doing the things you love during treatment and help prevent future injuries.  Her clinical experience includes working with NCAA Division I athletes at St. Mary’s College, US Veterans at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, and soon-to-be-mom’s throughout their pregnancy, as well as general practice.  She has participated in the Sports Medicine tent at numerous sporting events, including the Vineman Ironman, Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, Sea Otter Cycling Festival, and running events ranging from 5K to half marathons.  She has also traveled to Haiti and the Dominican Republic to provide chiropractic care to those in need.



Dr. Nolan has attended numerous seminars in addition to her classic training as a chiropractor. She has over 100 hours in extremities training and is certified in Webster Technique, Active Release Technique, Functional Movement Taping (kinesiotaping), Applied Kinesiology, and Applied Clinical Nutrition. She has also completed coursework in the McKenzie Method. Dr. Nolan continues her education by attending events on a regular basis is and will have achieve the rank of Board-Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician by the end of 2017.


Practice what you preach

Outside of the office, Dr. Nolan is an active triathlete and will be participating in her second half-ironman in Hawaii during the summer of 2017. She resides in Oakland, CA and loves hiking in the East Bay parks with her two dogs, as well as cycling and running in the Oakland hills.


History & Education

Dr. Jennifer I. Nolan graduated Cum Laude from Ithaca College in 2003 with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Exercise Science and Communications. After ten years in the film industry, Dr. Nolan decided it was time to pursue a career that allowed her to keep her love of an active lifestyle close to heart and become a Chiropractor. She completed her Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s San Jose Campus, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received several prestigious awards, including the Clinical Excellence Award and Student Fellowship Award for her graduating class.
