Dr. Jennifer I. Nolan

Dr. Nolan graduated Cum Laude from Ithaca College in 2003 with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Exercise Science and Communications. After ten years in the film/animation industry, Dr. Nolan decided it was time to pursue a career that allowed her to keep her love of an active lifestyle close to heart and become a Chiropractor. She completed her Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s San Jose Campus in June 2016, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received several prestigious awards, including the Clinical Excellence Award and Student Fellowship Award for her graduating class.

Dr. Nolan’s clinical experience includes working with NCAA Division I athletes at St. Mary’s College, US Veterans at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, and soon-to-be-mom’s throughout their pregnancy, as well as general practice.  She has participated in the Sports Medicine tent at numerous sporting events, including the Vineman Ironman, Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, Sea Otter Cycling Festival, and running events ranging from 5K to half marathons.  She has also traveled to Haiti and the Dominican Republic to provide chiropractic care these communities. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Nolan worked in physical therapy as a physical therapist aid and was a certified personal trainer by the National Council of Strength and Fitness.

Having always been an athlete, Dr. Nolan knew early on she wanted to specialize in Sports Medicine. In April 2018, Dr. Nolan completed her post-doctoral board certification of Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP). The CCSP certification focuses on specific needs of athletes, from assessing and rehabilitating injuries to specific nutrition and game/race day prep. She has over 100 hours in extremities training and is certified in Webster Technique, Active Release Technique (Full Body & Long Tract Nerve Entrapments), Rocktape Functional Movement Taping Levels 1 & 2 (kinesiotaping), Applied Kinesiology, and Applied Clinical Nutrition. She has also completed coursework in the McKenzie and Mulligan Methods.

Dr. Nolan resides in Oakland, CA and loves hiking in the East Bay parks with her two dogs, cycling/running in the Oakland hills, breaking a sweat at her CrossFit “box” and snowboarding/skiing during the winter months.

 

 

Dr. Erin Keitel

Doctor of Chiropractic (DC)

Masters in Public Health (MPH)

Dr. Erin is a California native who grew up in San Diego and has now been in the Bay Area for the past 10 years. She specializes in integrating traditional chiropractic adjustments with complementary techniques to address the root cause of underlying symptoms and release the source of interference within the nervous system. Dr. Erin is dedicated to helping families and people of all ages reconnect to their body and improve their overall well-being through chiropractic care. 

She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West, graduating as valedictorian, and holds a Master’s of Public Health from UC Berkeley. Continuously expanding her expertise, Dr. Erin has completed over 100 hours of training in both Bio-Geometric Integration (BGI) and Applied Kinesiology. Additionally, she is Webster certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

Dr. Erin’s passion for chiropractic stems from her own personal experiences under care while growing up and as a Division 1 lacrosse player at Davidson College. She has so much gratitude for the care she received throughout her life and looks forward to offering chiropractic to her future patients. 

Outside the office, you’ll find Dr. Erin hiking the East Bay hills, backpacking in the Sierras and checking out all the fresh finds at the local farmer’s market!
